Pierogi with Cabbage and Smoked Gouda Chicken Sausage

Ingredients
- 2-4 Gilbert’s Smoked Gouda Chicken Sausages, sliced
- 16 oz box frozen Pierogi
- 1 bag shredded cabbage or slaw mix
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- salt/pepper, to taste
- Sour cream
- Hot sauce

- Heat onion in a large, heavy skillet. Add onion and saute 2-3 minutes, until beginning to soften. Add in the shredded cabbage, sliced sausages, salt/pepper, and garlic. Cooked 3-5 minutes, until cabbage is cooked to your liking.
- Meanwhile, in another skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook Pierogi according to package directions, until golden brown and heated through.
- Combine Pierogi with cabbage mixture and serve with a side of sour cream and drizzle of hot sauce.
