Caprese Chicken Sausage Flatbreads
Mix things up with a grilled flatbread or pizza. These Caprese flatbreads make a great appetizer or meal for any summer gathering.

Ingredients
- 8oz jar of pesto
- 2 rectangular flatbreads
- 2 Gilbert's Caprese Chicken Sausages, cut into thin slices
- 8 - 12 grape tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 12 mini mozzarella pearls (optional)
- fresh basil, for garnish
- balsamic glaze, for garnish
Instructions
- Spread pesto in a thin layer over flatbread. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Then layer on evenly: chicken sausage slices, tomato halves, and mozzarella pearls.
- Grill on high for 10 - 12 minutes, until sausage is browned and cheese is melted. Then, top with fresh basil and balsamic glaze. Cut into squares and serve.
