Sesame Chicken Sausage Salad

That drive-thru salad is going to set you back 12 bucks and 23g of fat. Why not make ahead with Gilbert’s Aloha Chicken Sausage and a handful of simple ingredients. Our version is light enough to enjoy as your “power salad” for lunch or a side salad with any meal.

Makes 4 servings.

  1. Chop, mix and toss all greens and scallions with dressing.
  2. For warm sausages, heat and slice one with each serving. For cold, sautee and slice thin before mixing with your salad.
  3. Add wonton strips, almonds, sesame seeds and ¼ of the oranges with each serving.
