Caprese Pasta Meal Prep

Individually-wrapped Gilbert’s make meal prep easy. Get your work lunches made for the week with this easy pasta.

Ingredients
  • 4 Links Gilbert’s Craft Sausages Caprese Chicken Sausage
  • 1 box pasta, any variety (I used chickpea pasta)
  • 1 jar marinara sauce, any variety (I used Rao’s)
  • 1 bag of frozen, steamable broccoli
  • Shredded parmesan and fresh basil to garnish, if desired.
Instructions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and return to pot.  Add in marinara sauce and keep warm.
  2. While pasta cooks brown the Caprese sausages in a medium skillet. 
  3. Microwave broccoli according to package directions - season with salt, pepper, and garlic.
  4. Assemble your boxes: Divide pasta between four large containers.  Top each serving of pasta with a sausage link.  Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and basil.  Divide broccoli between containers as a side dish. Enjoy!
