Caprese Chicken Sausage Tacos

A light, easy summer meal with the flavors of a Caprese salad

Ingredients
  • 4 Gilbert’s Caprese Chicken Sausages
  • 1 bunch Basil leaves, torn
  • 3/4 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup Burrata (can substitute mozzarella)
  • 4 Corn tortillas
  • Balsamic vinegar, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
Instructions
  • Cook sausages according to package directions. When ready, cut each sausage on the bias.
  • Toast the corn tortillas. Divide basil leaves between each of the four tortillas.
  • Place the sausages over the basil leaves and top sausages with tomatoes and burrata.
  • Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with pepper.
