Sausage & Veggie Parchment Packets
No matter how many ways we make this recipe, there's just something special about wrapping Gilbert's up with your favorite veggies and throwing a flavor party.

Ingredients
- 1 pack of Bourbon Apple Chicken Sausages (coined as shown)
- 2-3 ears of pre-boiled/cooked sweet corn (cut into small pieces, approx. 1 and 1/2 inches wide)
- 1/2 an onion (small diced),
- approx. 3 cups small/baby potatoes (cut in half/fourths),
- 2 bell peppers (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 zucchini (cut into small coins, then cut in half)
- 3-4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 tbsp butter (or olive oil)
- fresh parsley (finely chopped) for garnish
- salt and pepper to taste.
- 🔥 You will also need parchment paper or foil.
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high or around 450 degrees. Alternatively you can pre-heat your oven to 425.
- Prep all ingredients as detailed above.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl microwave butter and garlic until melted/ fragrant.
- Next, add veggies and sausage to a very large bowl. Drizzle garlic butter mixture over top, and toss until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
- Prep packets: we used pre-cut parchment paper sheets. You can also use parchment paper or foil (1 piece per packet) cut to size. Divide mixture among sheets and seal packets so no air can escape, but there is still room for air to circulate inside.
- Grill for 15-18 min. flipping once, or bake at 425 for approx. 30 min.
- Once done, remove from grill/ oven, carefully open packets to release steam, garnish with parsley and season to taste.
