BBQ Hawaiian Dogs
No matter how many variations we do on these tropical Aloha Chicken Sausages, we just keep coming back for more.
Ingredients
- 4 Gilbert’s Craft Sausages Aloha Chicken Sausages
- 4 Tbsp BBQ sauce
- 4 hotdog buns
- 2 cups diced fresh pineapple
- ¼ cup red onion, finely diced
- ½ red bell pepper, small dice
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 jalapeno, seeds removed, finely diced
- Handful of cilantro, chopped
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare salsa by mixing together pineapple, red onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, lime juice, cilantro, and salt. Stir well, cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Grill Aloha sausages, turning often, until desired doneness. Brush each sausage with bbq sauce several times during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Serve BBQ sausages on a bun topped with fresh pineapple salsa. Enjoy!
