Bourbon Apple BBQ Flatbread
The bread is flat but the flavor is most definitely not!
Ingredients
- 1 Gilbert’s Bourbon Apple Chicken Sausage, sliced
- 1 Large store-bought flatbread
- 1/4 – 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup Gouda cheese, shredded
- 1/2 Small apple, thinly-sliced
- Red onion, thinly-sliced, to taste
- Cilantro, garnish
Instructions
- Layer flatbread with bbq sauce, gouda, chicken sausage, apple, and red onion.
- Bake according to package directions. If there are no directions on the package bake at 425 for 8-10 minutes until crust is crispy and golden and toppings are melted and starting to brown.
- Garnish with lots of fresh cilantro and an extra drizzle of BBQ, if desired. Enjoy!
