Caprese Choripan

A quick & easy version of a popular South American street food

Ingredients
  • 4 Gilbert’s Caprese Chicken Sausages, grilled
  • French bread, cut to (4) 6" rolls, split, buttered and grilled
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 Onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil (omit for low-fat version)
  • Salt, red pepper flake and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
  • Mix chimichurri ingredients (everything but sausage and bread)
  • Butter and lightly grill bread
  • Grill sausages
  • Serve hot!
  • Optional – top with salsa, avocado, grilled peppers or anything else you might put on a taco
