Caprese Sausage Tortellini
This quick, easy pasta is the perfect use for our Caprese Chicken Sausages.

Ingredients
- 1, 9 oz package tortellini
- 1, 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cup spinach, roughly chopped
- 1 package (4 links) Gilbert’s Caprese Chicken Sausages, sliced
- 2 oz fresh low-fat mozzarella, diced
Yield: 4 servings
Instructions
- Prepare tortellini according to package directions.
- In a large skillet heat tomato sauce, garlic, basil, oregano, and salt. Simmer for ~2 minutes.
- Fold spinach into the tomato sauce. It will begin to wilt and reduce in size as it is heated.
- Next, add prepared tortellini sausages, folding to evenly distribute. Cook until heated through.
- Top with mozzarella and enjoy!
