“Everything” Puff Pastry Sausages
Bagel dogs are back!

Ingredients
- 4 Gilbert’s Smoked Gouda Chicken Sausage, cut in half lengthwise
- 1 sheet puff pastry dough, thawed
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- everything bagel seasoning
- dijon mustard
- dipping sauces such as cheese, mustard, etc.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Roll out the puff pastry dough into a rectangle and cut into 8 equal pieces.
- Brush a little bit of mustard onto the center of each piece of dough and place a piece of sausage on top. Fold the dough over the top of the sausage so that it just overlaps. Brush a little bit of egg where the dough meets, to help seal the seam. Place the sausage on the baking sheet and repeat with all the remaining pieces.
- Brush the dough with the beaten egg and sprinkle with the everything bagel seasoning - use as much or as little as you'd like.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until the dough is golden brown and flakey. Serve with dipping sauce of choice. Enjoy!
