Breakfast on the caliente side
Recipe by Rachel’s Healthy Plate
- 1 Gilbert’s Craft Chicken Sausage, any flavor, cooked and sliced into ¼ inch pieces
- 2 corn tortillas, warmed and charred or baked until crispy
- 1/3 c. refried beans, warmed
- 1-2 eggs, cooked any style
- Chili powder
- Salsa, as desired
- Additional topping suggestions: avocado, cilantro, cheese, pickled onions, hot sauce, fresh lime
- Mix refried beans with a 1-2 tbsp of salsa.Spread over warmed tortillas.
- Top tortillas and beans with egg(s), a pinch of chili powder, and the sliced sausage.
- Garnish with additional salsa and any other toppings you desire. Enjoy!
