Sausage Breakfast Sandwich

Makes Two Sandwiches

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Brown your sausage slices in a skillet on medium-high heat
  • Combine syrup, sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl, add to skillet with sausages
  • Bring syrup to a boil, reduce heat and simmer to reduce syrup mixture
  • In a separate pan, fry your eggs
  • To each muffin, add one egg, two sausage slices and a slice of cheese
  • Wrap muffins in aluminum foil
  • To melt the cheese and toast the sandwich, bake sandwiches in your preheated oven for 1-2 minutes. You can also do this on the grill or in a toaster oven.
