Slow Cooker Green Beans & Potatoes with Smoked Sausage
A couldn't-be-simpler side recipe for your slow cooker. Bring this one to a family gathering or a weeknight dinner. Serves 6-8.

Ingredients
- 4 Gilbert's Smoked Andouille Chicken Sausages, cut into ½ inch rounds
- 2 lbs fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces
- 1.5 lbs red potatoes, cut into 1 inch chunks
- 2 cups chicken broth or stock
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a slow cooker and stir well.
- Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat for 4 hours, until the green beans and potatoes are tender.
- Adjust seasonings to taste. (I added quite a bit more salt but this will depend on your taste and the chicken broth you used.)
