Spanish Rice Sausage Skillet
A quick Spanish-style beans & rice with Gilbert’s Craft Sausages
Ingredients
- 2 Gilbert’s Craft Sausages
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 1/2 can (~7.5 oz) Black Beans
- 1/2 can (~7.5 oz) Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies
- 1/2 can (~3 oz) Tomato paste
- 1/2 Yellow Onion, diced
- 1/2 Green Bell Pepper, diced
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Cumin, ground
Instructions
- Preheat a seasoned skillet or pot with 1 tsp olive oil on medium-high.
- Add onions, peppers and garlic to skillet. Heat until onions are translucent, then coat mix with cumin.
- Slice sausages into 1/2" pieces, add to skillet. Heat until browning, tossing occasionally.
- Add cooked rice, beans, tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir to evenly coat.
- Heat 2-3 minutes until warmed evenly.
